“Together, we will work on strategies that address the root cause of difficulties. We have what we need inside us. Let’s use curiosity and compassion to ask the hard questions. Those answers are the gateway to resolution. Call me and let’s talk.” I believe there are no broken people. Decisions made during difficult, emotional times are influenced by unsettled parts. Through talk therapy, we can address past hurts in a safe and supportive therapeutic space free of judgment. Doing so will begin the healing process. The focus is to empower your quiet voice within to share your truth with first yourself and then others. The goal is to end historic pain by creating a more pleasant present, which allows you to live your best life.

Hello! My name is Samantha Vamosy and I am so happy you are interested in working together. I know starting a therapy process whether you have before or this is your first time can be scary and uncomfortable. I hope we can work through this time together making this journey as helpful and special as possible. My passions have always aligned with helping others and listening in a compassionate, non-judgmental, and curious way. I find real change occurs when a person can fully explore their life in a holistic way. Whether it is current mental health symptoms or past traumas holistic healing is possible for everyone. I received my Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Fairfield University and achieved my LPC after completing 3000 hours in an outpatient clinic for substance abuse. I value a person-centered approach that focuses on strength-based and solution-focused techniques. I also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy to be able to challenge unhealthy patterns that no longer serve you. Together we will identify goals, by exploring what is and is not working and be able to collaboratively come up with solutions and learning tools to better overcome barriers to success. We will work at your pace and readjust goals and steps as we go along. Through these techniques we will work together to identify maladaptive thoughts that contribute to avoidance behaviors and fears that keep us stuck, feeling even more anxious and often depressed. Overcoming life transitions, challenges, and uncertainty can be difficult and no one should have to face these decisions on their own!

Life is stressful, and we are living in hard times. Sometimes we feel alone and like things are out of control, but I am here to help. It is totally normal to seek support. I can offer nonjudgmental support, strategies to help you cope and grow, short-term goals for growth, and flexibility to your individual needs. HI, I am Heather. Nice to meet you. Hi I am a LCMHC I have a holistic approach to helping clients work thru their grief and loss . It can be a loss of a love one thru gun violence.or sudden death like a heart attack or some other health issue .Loss of a relationship ,a divorce or a devastating medical diagnosis or a change of health can and does bring a lot of grief . Even being on an eating plan that changes our weight and brings up many feeling and emotions as we struggle to be successful. I have worked with those going thru the aging process which often means they cannot complete tasks and do things that they used to do resulting in a sense of loss But I have seen in my practice clients find a sense of purpose emerge as they experience moment to moment the myriad of feelings , sensations that are often associated with grief . Going thru a loss can be a very difficult time in one’s life and we often have a need to see a professional to help us navigate the rough terrain of grief . I have also seen it be thru grief and loss one finds their purpose. There is hope . . .
