New to Grow
Welcome to a safe place where you will be seen, your voice will be heard, and your story counts. Psychotherapy should be a nonjudgmental, affirming, and collaborative process where you always feel supported. Together, we’ll explore the root causes of your struggles, uncover practical solutions, build on your strengths, and create a path toward the growth and healing you deserve.
My therapy approach is warm, empowering, and affirming, creating a space where you feel truly seen and supported. I believe in a solution-oriented mindset, helping you navigate challenges with practical tools and meaningful insights.
I utilize a collaborative, strengths-based approach that empowers clients to identify their own goals and build upon existing strengths. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and culturally responsive therapeutic environment where clients feel safe exploring difficult emotions and experiences. I balance validation and support with gentle challenge to promote insight, accountability, and meaningful change. I tailor treatment interventions to each client's unique needs, preferences, values, and stage of change.
I currently have open slots to treat adults 18+, individuals with substance misuse, and the elderly population. I am ready to work with people who are gender fluid or identify with any gender, who are open to being transparent, willing to do the work, and accept feedback from the therapist. I have years of experience with individuals with ADHD, anger issues, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, to name a few.
Other specialties
I identify as
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I incorporate mindfulness-based techniques to support emotional regulation, reduce anxiety symptoms, and strengthen the client's ability to respond to challenges with greater awareness and intention. Mindfulness-based interventions were used to increase the client's awareness of thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations, promote present-moment focus, and enhance coping skills to manage stress and emotional distress.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT techniques to explore the connection between the client's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Through cognitive restructuring and problem-solving interventions, the client is assisted in reframing cognitive distortions and implementing healthier behavioral responses to stressors.
Faith based therapy
Faith-based interventions were incorporated in accordance with the client's beliefs and values to support emotional healing, resilience, and personal growth. The therapist encourages the client to draw upon spiritual beliefs, practices, and sources of meaning as strengths in coping with life stressors and mental health challenges.
