Aside from talk therapy, I do like to draw from various mediums such as podcasts, web articles, books, Ted talks etc. to help bring forth new insights. This serves as an additional source of information that I incorporate into evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral or Solution Focused Therapies. I enjoy using real-life, relatable information across a spectrum of sources and individuals who also share the human experience. My background includes working in community health, crisis stabilization, residential and correctional behavioral health settings. I am experienced in supporting those dealing with anxiety, grief, mood disorders, life transitions and relationship issues. Additionally, with 8 years experience in child welfare, I have a gained a deep understanding of generational trauma, enhancing my ability to support my clients.
