Hi, I am Estee, Life can feel tough. Do you want to be able to shift out of those difficult emotional places? We can work to create that! In a safe, nurturing space we actively engage in a process of self discovery. We undertake this task together in order to align to your higher potential. This is done with a technique called Emotionally-Focused Individual Therapy or EFIT. EFIT is an evidence based technique that has been proven time and time again to improve quality of life.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing and goals you want to achieve. This will help me create a personalized plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
My biggest strength is active listening. It is the strength of active listening and compassion that allows me to hear what the client may be struggling with. This is important in the EFIT model. The client knows themself the best and when they understand that they can share their struggles with a safe and compassion other, they can begin to feel relief and heal.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for something to change, therapy can be the space where that shift begins. I work with individuals who are motivated to grow—even if they’re not quite sure how yet—and who are open to exploring themselves in a deeper, more meaningful way. Together, we create a safe, supportive environment where you can better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. We’ll focus on what’s happening in your life right now, helping you untangle internal dialogue and improve how you connect with others. Through this process, you’ll gain clarity, build emotional awareness, and develop tools to navigate challenges with greater confidence. I see therapy as a powerful and insightful journey—one that uncovers the “what” behind what holds us back, and the “how” to move forward. As we work together, many clients begin to experience a natural shift—toward alignment with their values, their intentions, and the life they truly want to live.
Supportive
I find Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy to be a wonderful "road map" for helping client find what "gets in the way" to better communication with themselves and others. Once we explore and talk about these things, the client feels better and can let go of things from the past that do not serve them anymore. They report, "I feel better, lighter."
Mind-body approach
I may sometimes use the body to help create a feeling of well being, this can help the mind relax, and visa versa. I like to think we are a whole unit, a mind and a body.

My husband and I worked with Estee to cope with overwhelming grief related to infertility and not being able to grow our family. Estee is an incredibly skilled listener. She always makes me feel deeply understood and is patient, caring and kind. Working with Estee has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. She gave me the gift of reconnecting with my true self and feeling like a better, more joyful version of me than before we started. We are eternally grateful for Estee.
