Leonel J. Garciga, Licensed, Mental Health Counselor living and practicing in Miami, Florida since 2004. I am bilingual speaking English and Spanish with life experience having raised eight children in a blinded family setting. I can understand the difficulties of raising emotionally healthy children and maintaining a marriage. I entered college late in life at age 35 as an education major and went on to change my major to psychology. I have a passion for my profession and find people fascinating. I enjoy sports, music, and people.

An increased awareness of behaviors and thoughts that are not working for them in achieving their goals. An acceptance and non-judgmental therapeutic environment while challenging faulty thinking.
Strengths
I specialize in couples improving their communication skills, adults and adolescents suffering from substance use. Also, individuals who are struggling with depression and anxiety. Everyone at some point in their life has been faced with difficulties or challenges. My passion is to empower people to achieve their goals, improve their relationships, and gain awareness of their hidden potential.
