Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, and then continue into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me deliver a personalized plan that we are able to work through in follow up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have been working with patients for over 10 years in a variety of settings. I started my career in the OB/GYN field, and therefore, have additional training in the nuances of women's psychiatry. I am empathetic, caring, and a god listener. I believe in evidence-based practice and frequently complete continuing education in the field.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with adolescents and young adults. Particularly those in times of transition. My specialty is women's psych.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

The first goal is to increase the person’s motivation and the second is for the person to make the commitment to change. As opposed to simply stating a need or desire to change, hearing yourself express a commitment out loud has been shown to help improve your ability to actually make those stated changes.

I was looking for someone to help manage my adhd. Not only did she do that but also brought in other processes in my body that she thought may be adding to my symptoms! She’s very detailed in how she approaches health. I love that!

I am grateful to be able to openly discuss with someone who listens and creates a new medication plan to help me succeed. I felt very comfortable.
