Laura Bloomberg
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, or a major life transition, it can be difficult to manage the emotional weight on your own. I specialize in working with adults, young adults, and adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, women's mental health concerns, trauma, relationship issues, and the challenges that arise during life's many transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of criticism or shame. Together, we identify the concerns that are impacting your well-being and develop meaningful goals tailored to your unique needs and strengths.
I believe therapy is a collaboration, where we can work together to support you, rather than a teacher student stance.
First session
Your first therapy session is a chance for us to get to know one another. We can explore your reasons for seeking out therapy, what you are looking gain from therapy and how you would like to go about reaching your goals. It is also a great opportunity for you to see if we have a good vibe and if you feel comfortable talking together
Strengths
I believe my biggest strength is my empathy. I have additional trainings and certification is trauma, grief and anxiety. At the end of the day, having the certifications is not enough, you need another person to talk with, not a teacher. I recognize that every person's story is unique, and I strive to meet each client where they are in their journey. Whether you are seeking support during a difficult season of life or working toward long-term personal growth, my goal is to help you move beyond simply surviving and toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and fulfilling. Together, we can build on your strengths, foster healing, and create lasting change that supports your overall well-being.
Ideal clients
I appreciate working with clients who are willing to be open and honest with themselves and are able to bring their authentic selves to sessions. Being in therapy requires a level of vulnerability, whether you are exploring your past, gaining insight into your present and setting goals for your future

Narrative
My role is to work alongside you to explore your story and how you are not the problem. You are not flawed. You are in charge of your life and the emotions you feel. This means you have the inner strength to rewrite your narrative and experience with symptoms
