My name is Dr. Nahomie Mirville, a dual board certified as Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of nursing experience with 9 years as a nurse practitioner. I am here to help you have the life you have always wanted! Difficult experiences in life can bring up feelings of anxiety, depression, or lack of direction. With compassion and honesty, I will help you to work through issues while identifying your inner strengths to be a happier and healthier version of you. I describe myself as compassionate and understanding. I look forward to taking the journey of healing with you.

First session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive therapeutic relationship. We'll discuss what brings you to treatment, your current concerns, and your personal, medical, and mental health history. I'll ask questions to better understand your symptoms, strengths, goals, and any factors that may be affecting your well-being. We'll also review your treatment goals, discuss possible treatment options, and answer any questions you may have about the process. If medication management is part of your care, we'll review your current medications, discuss benefits and potential side effects, and determine whether any changes are appropriate. My goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and involved in decisions about your care. By the end of the session, we'll develop an initial treatment plan together and discuss the next steps in your care.

Strengths

I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. My approach is collaborative and personalized, combining evidence based treatment with practical strategies tailored to each client's needs. Ideal clients

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, domestic violence survivors and relationship challenges. My ideal clients are those who are ready to better understand themselves, develop healthy coping skills, and work collaboratively toward improving their mental health and overall quality of life. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and tailor treatment to each person's unique experiences and goals. Whether you're seeking support for a new challenge or managing long term concerns, I'm committed to helping you build resilience and make meaningful progress.
