I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 30 years of experience in human services and education. I provide a therapy space that is genuine, approachable, and grounded—where you can show up as you are without pressure or pretense. I value honest, authentic conversations and believe meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic connection. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and focused on helping you move beyond feeling stuck so you can create lasting, meaningful changes in your life. Whether you are navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed, therapy can offer a space to reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. Please note that I currently have limited availability for new clients. If you are interested in beginning services, feel free to reach out to inquire about current openings.
The first session is about understanding what’s going on and what’s not working for you right now. I’ll ask questions to get a full picture, but this isn’t about putting you on the spot—it’s a conversation. You don’t need to prepare or have the “right” words. We’ll start identifying patterns, what you want to change, and what direction makes sense moving forward. You should leave with a better sense of what’s next and whether this feels like a good fit.
If you feel like you have it together on the outside but are overwhelmed, stuck, or burned out underneath, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to keep managing it on your own. One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a space where you can be yourself—without feeling like you have to filter, perform, or have everything figured out. I focus on building a genuine, comfortable connection so you can talk openly and feel understood, not judged. I work especially well with professionals and high-functioning adults navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients are insightful and self-aware, yet still feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty setting boundaries. I value honest, real conversations. I’m engaged, present, and straightforward in a way that helps you feel both supported and challenged. While you’ll feel heard, we won’t stay stuck there—I help you identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and begin to shift them in ways that feel realistic and manageable. A key strength I bring is helping bridge the gap between insight and action. Therapy with me is not just about understanding the “why”—it’s about figuring out what to do differently and how to apply it in your everyday life.
I work effectively with a wide range of adults, including professionals, individuals in transition, and those both new to therapy and returning with prior experience. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside yet feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected internally. I also support individuals who have insight into their patterns but struggle to translate that awareness into meaningful, lasting change. My approach resonates with those who value authenticity, prefer a balance of practical strategies and honest conversation, and are seeking a genuine therapeutic connection that supports real progress across a variety of life circumstances.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help you recognize the patterns among your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—especially the ones that keep you stuck. Then we work on practical ways to shift those patterns so you can respond differently, not just continue on autopilot.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use ACT to help you stop getting pulled around by every thought and feeling. We work on making space for the uncomfortable stuff without letting it drive the bus—so you can actually move toward what matters instead of staying stuck.

When talking with Stephanie I did not feel judgement. She was very easy to talk and I felt as though she could relate. We scheduled several more time slots for the next few weeks. By the end of the time I sat in my chair and was wiped out but it was not in a bad way.
