LMHC, 5 years of experience
Welcome, my name is Chelsea and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Central Florida. As a mental health counselor, I’m honored to walk alongside my clients as they take the brave first step toward growth and healing. I know beginning this journey takes courage, and I value creating a personalized experience that reflects each person’s unique needs. My approach blends a thoughtful balance of compassion and evidence-based techniques, providing both a safe space to feel heard and practical tools to support meaningful change. Together we will take the necessary steps to foster positive change and reach your desired goals.
In our first session, we’ll simply take some time to get to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what’s been going on in your life, what brought you here, and what you hope to get out of counseling—but we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll also share a bit about how I work, so you have a clear picture of what our time together might look like. More than anything, this first meeting is about creating a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, supported, and free to be yourself as we begin this journey together.
I help people struggling with anxiety, loss, relationship issues, addiction, and stages of life change. I am authentic, warm, and empathic clinician whose goal is to empower my clients to reach their goals and see their potential for continual growth.

In my practice, I draw from a variety of approaches to meet each client’s unique needs, and CBT is one of the tools I often use. I value it because it helps clients notice the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and actions, and empowers them to shift unhelpful patterns. When combined with other therapeutic approaches, CBT offers practical, everyday strategies that clients can practice between sessions, supporting growth and positive change in a way that feels both manageable and meaningful.
I use a Humanistic approach because I believe each person has an innate capacity for growth, resilience, and self-discovery. This perspective allows me to see clients as whole individuals, not just through the lens of their challenges. In sessions, I create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients feel deeply heard and valued, and I work alongside them to explore their strengths, clarify their values, and uncover their own solutions.
