New to Grow
I am a compassionate and collaborative psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate challenges, strengthen resilience, and foster meaningful personal growth. I believe therapy should be a supportive and empowering space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. My approach centers on helping clients gain insight into their experiences while developing practical tools to manage stress, improve relationships, and support emotional wellness. I work with clients at their current stage of life and tailor treatment to meet their unique needs and goals.
In the first session, clients can expect a warm, nonjudgmental environment where we begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. This session is an opportunity for us to discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your concerns, and identify goals you would like to work toward. I also gather background information to better understand your experiences and current challenges. Clients can expect a collaborative conversation where they feel supported, have space to ask questions, and begin gaining clarity about the therapeutic process and how we may work together.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the balance of insight, compassion, and practical skill-building I bring into the work. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy while also drawing from family systems and person-centered perspectives to tailor treatment to each client. I focus not only on helping clients understand patterns that contribute to distress, but also on equipping them with tools to cope more effectively in daily life. My goal is to support lasting change by helping clients build self-awareness, resilience, and healthier ways of thinking, relating, and responding.
As a psychotherapist, I help individuals and families gain insight into their experiences and develop practical tools to manage life’s daily challenges. I believe in meeting clients where they are in their current stage of life and tailoring the therapeutic process to support their growth and healing. My work with families recognizes the importance of understanding the family as a unit while strengthening each person’s role within it. I am most effective with clients who are ready to engage in the therapeutic process, explore change, and commit to the work involved in personal growth. Through a collaborative and supportive approach, I help clients build awareness, resilience, and healthier ways of coping.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In psychotherapy, I uti;ize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify patterns of thinking that may contribute to distress, challenge beliefs that are unhelpful or inaccurate, and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges. CBT is a collaborative and goal-oriented approach, which means we work together to build practical coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and support meaningful behavior change. I often incorporate skill-building techniques such as cognitive restructuring, problem-solving, mindfulness-based strategies, and behavioral interventions to help clients manage concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. My use of CBT is tailored to each client’s unique needs, creating a supportive space where insight can lead to lasting growth and healing.
