Welcome! I'm Megan, and I'm so happy you're here :) Congrats on taking the first step in learning more about yourself and making changes you can be proud of. I love being a therapist, because I get to meet brave, curious people who (on some level) know they want more out of their lives. Therapy can be challenging, but the more we work together to create a trusting and honest relationship, the more we can address your suffering and improve your life.
Our first session together is really your opportunity to see if I'm a good fit for you! If you feel excited to work with me, then we will move forward in discussing your goals for treatment and what symptoms or behaviors we might want to track as one indicator that therapy is effective for you.
I've been told by previous clients that I help them see things in a different way, learn to take control in their lives, and provide a space that is comforting and judgment-free.
