Sometimes what feels like a crisis is really your system saying, “something has to change.” I work with women who appear strong, capable, and composed—but inside, they’re exhausted from holding it all together. Whether you’re adjusting to a new role, navigating career burnout, or suspecting ADHD that’s gone unnoticed for years, our work focuses on stabilizing what’s underneath the overwhelm. My clients are high-achieving professionals in tech, education, and finance who are ready for a short-term reset. Together, we use practical, compassionate strategies that work with your brain—not against it—to rebuild focus, calm, and self-trust. As a therapist, I understand the intersection of neurodiversity, identity, and ambition. You won’t have to explain code-switching, microaggressions, or the weight of constant masking. This space is designed for you to be fully yourself—to quiet perfectionism, reconnect with your body, and create space for joy and ease, not just achievement. If you’re ready to pause, recalibrate, and move forward with more clarity, I can help you get there.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a space to slow down and breathe-literally. You'll learn at least 1 body based skill that will eventually be your anchor. We’ll then clarify what brought you here, what’s been feeling scattered or unclear, and what “best hopes” could look like for you. I’ll ask about what’s been working, what hasn’t, and what support you need right now. Together, we’ll create a short-term plan focused on stability and direction—something that feels realistic, not overwhelming. You’ll leave with a sense of clarity about our next steps and what this work will look like moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is creating systems that bring order and relief to people who feel scattered trying to balance personal and professional life. So often, the personal gets neglected in the pursuit of achievement—and that imbalance eventually catches up. As a self-proclaimed “recovering perfectionist,” I practice what I preach. I use the same grounding and planning tools I share with clients to manage my own tendencies toward overdoing, overthinking, and overcommitting. My approach blends structure with self-compassion—helping you build systems that support both your success and your well-being, not one at the expense of the other.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are women in their late 20s and early 30s navigating life transitions, burnout, or undiagnosed ADHD. They’re ambitious, self-aware, and tired of trying to “fix” themselves through trends, productivity hacks, or self-help alone. Many are professionals in tech, education, or finance—people who others rely on, but who rarely have space to rest. You might not see yourself as being “in crisis,” but you know something has to change. Therapy with me helps you reset, rebuild balance, and move forward with more clarity and ease.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

SFBT helps keep the focus on what’s working and what’s possible, even when you feels stuck. I use this approach to help clients notice options hiding in blind spots, reconnect with their hopes, and build confidence through small, realistic wins. It’s a forward-looking, practical way to regain momentum when life feels uncertain.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps you understand the cycles that either support or sabotage your well-being. Together, we identify patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that keep you looping in stress or self-criticism. I use CBT to offer education about how systems—both personal and external—shape how we think, and to teach strategies that make change feel achievable.

Somatic

We often ignore the signals our bodies give us in pursuit of expectations or responsibilities. Somatic work helps you slow down and listen. In our sessions, we use grounding, breath, and body awareness to rebuild trust in yourself—rewiring your system to recognize what safety, intuition, and calm actually feel like. This approach supports lasting change by connecting your mind and body in the healing process.

I’ve had a wonderful experience working with AJ. She helped me gain a deeper understanding of myself and consistently challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone in ways that felt both supportive and empowering. Her insight, compassion, and guidance have made a meaningful impact on my personal growth. I’m truly grateful for our work together.

I was very skeptical about AJ being able to help me. I definitely had a wall up when starting but little by little she was willing to chip away at it with me. She helped me create my own solutions that now help me navigate difficult situations and I am forever thankful. She gives you the time and space you need to go at your own pace, and for someone like me that is everything. I highly recommend giving her the opportunity to take you down your own path.
