Hello! My name is Lorena Moreno, licensed clinical social worker. I received my BA in Psychology from Pitzer College located in Claremont, CA and my Master's in Social Work from USC. I have over 19 yrs of clinical experience working with adults, children & families. I am trained in EMDR, certified in Trauma-Focused CBT, PPP Positive Parenting and Interpersonal Therapy evidence-based practices.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I strive to create a safe, warm and nonjudgmental environment, which is crucial in building a strong working relationship. During the first session we will discuss what brings you to therapy as well as what you hope to accomplish in therapy. My goal is to support you along the way to reach your treatment goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a core part of engaging in healthy life changes, therefore, choosing a therapist you feel is a good fit for you is key. I would feel fortunate to explore this with you and look forward to working together to improve your quality of life. I am bilingual in Spanish.
