I have been a Social Worker for 17 yrs working in various fields and I'm passionate about play therapy and creating a calm/safe atmosphere for children to feel heard and validated while teaching them valuable social emotional skills along the way. I primarily help with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Adjustment Disorder and other Trauma Related Disorders, and I am trained to work with children experiencing cognitive/learning disabilities and other neurodevelopmental concerns. I am only offering virtual therapy services at this time with the hope to expand into in-person services in the future. I would love to assist you in meeting your child's needs! Please reach out so we can get started today!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will get to know each other and work together to identify areas of concern and your expectations and needs from therapy and how I can best meet those needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have been practicing Social Work for 17 years and have been providing individual and group therapy for the past 11 years as a community mental health provider in schools. This gives me a unique perspective on the challenges, both at home and in the community, faced by today's youth. I also know how to navigate and advocate for my clients within the school system.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I primarily work with children who are experiencing ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma-Related concerns. I also have experience working with children who have cognitive/learning disabilities and other neurodevelopmental concerns.

Play Therapy

Children and adolescents express themselves and learn most effectively through various forms of play. Whether through play with toys, art therapy, utilizing books, and creating crafts- hands on therapy is the easiest way to communicate with children and adolescents. I have been utilizing these various forms of therapy in practice for the past 11 years and am passionate about continuing in this new setting!
