Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll get a better understanding of what you're looking for in the work and what you would like to achieve. We'll also get closer to understanding what might get in the way of achieving your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I love being a therapist, and I do my best to be honest and direct while bringing warmth, thoughtfulness and good humor. I enjoy supporting and facilitating meaningful growth and change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with relationship and attachment issues, difficult family histories, couples issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, major life transitions, work stress, parenting, divorce and separation, identity and sexuality, neurodiversity (ADHD and ASD), and issues pertaining to both relational and incident-specific trauma. I work with a range of age groups- from adolescence to mature adulthood.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

I believe that relationships heal. We can learn to undo patterns from the past and create new, healthier and constructive patterns.

Child Parent Psychotherapy

I help parents find their way. Parenting is hard work, both physically and emotionally, and some of us could use a roadmap.

Attachment-based

Some of our relational patterns come from our earliest relationships. I help my clients re-work and re-wire early patterns.

Couples Counseling

Couples sometimes need help getting past the honeymoon stage and into the real deal. So many of us have not had healthy conflict resolution, healthy communication, or healthy relational habits modeled to us. Some couples are also needing help dealing with big life changes, recovering from incidents of betrayal, or help making critical life decisions. I'm here to work on these things and more!

EMDR

I work with ongoing and incident-specific trauma. I use trauma-specific techniques to help clients process and move through traumatic life incidents.
