I’m a counselor who believes that healing begins with connection—with yourself, your pain, and the meaning you give to your life. My approach is rooted in existential therapy, which means I help people explore the deeper “why” behind their struggles, choices, and patterns. Together, we look at questions of purpose, freedom, and authenticity—not as abstract ideas, but as living experiences that shape how you relate to yourself and others. At Rogue Counseling, I work with people who feel stuck between who they are and who they want to be. Maybe you’re tired of running from discomfort, or maybe you’re just ready to live with more intention. I don’t see therapy as fixing what’s broken—I see it as helping you reconnect with your own agency and meaning, even in the face of uncertainty. My style is direct but compassionate. I draw from philosophy, psychology, and the realities of being human in a messy, complex world. I believe humor, curiosity, and courage belong in the therapy room just as much as pain and vulnerability. If you’re ready to explore your own story and live more freely within it, I’ll walk that path with you—one honest conversation at a

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida (but in my past life, I was a writer and a yoga teacher!). I graduated with my MSW from Florida Atlantic University in 2023. Prior to entering private practice, I interned and worked in the substance use treatment industry for five years. While I’ve worked with a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families over the course of my career thus far, I spent my first three years in the industry working at a substance use treatment facility that serves the LGBTQIA+ population: a beautiful and eye-opening experience. Outside of private practice work, I currently facilitate groups at a mental health facility several times/week.

Life is complicated enough—and it doesn’t come with a manual. But therapy can be a space where we begin drafting one, together. My goal is to help you live more authentically, compassionately, and in better company with yourself, one step at a time. My approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, and existential therapy to meet you where you are. I’m a trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, client-centered therapist who takes a holistic view of healing. I graduated with a Master's degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in 2021, I obtained my post-graduate license to practice social work in 2024. I have experience supporting individuals navigating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and personality disorders. Together, we’ll build a strong therapeutic alliance, identify unhelpful thought patterns and core beliefs, and work toward sustainable, meaningful change. I believe healing is deeply personal, and no two journeys look the same. As Carl Sagan once said: "I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way."

I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and moved to the United States in my mid-teens, carrying with me resilience, cultural richness, and a deep passion for helping others. My greatest inspiration has always been my mother—a strong, independent woman who taught me compassion, courage, and the power of emotional support. Those values led me to become a therapist dedicated to guiding others through life’s most difficult moments. Today, I specialize in supporting adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, and significant life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that every person is capable of healing. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, process their past, and build the confidence and stability they deserve. Outside of my work, you’ll often find me spending time with my family, enjoying new recipes, walking in my neighborhood, or watching the sunrise—my favorite way to recharge and reset.

I grew up in South Florida, and I am raising my three teenage/college-aged children here as well. I have been married for over 20 years, and I understand all of the stressors of balancing being a mom, a wife, and having my own career. As an LMHC with over 30 years of experience, I have worked in public and private schools, from elementary to high school, and have served as a college counselor. Additionally, I have worked in private practice and community mental health. I have training as a Parenting Coordinator in high-conflict divorce and have also become a Certified Mediator in the State of Florida. I also have specialized Grief-Informed Training from Children's Bereavement Center, and I have attended several trainings on adolescents, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and depression. My goal is to provide a safe, warm, and welcoming space for teens and adults to express their feelings. Through the therapeutic process, my role is to strengthen communication and relationships to create more balance, peace, and happiness both within and with others. My motto, "Transforming Struggles into Strengths," moves clients from being a victim of circumstance to feeling strong and empowered to maintain the status quo or make changes and move forward. I bring a calm, gentle approach that uses both challenge and humor to balance stressful moments. I believe that the client is their own best expert, and I assist in strengthening their inner self, which then brings clarity to relationships and increases self-esteem and well-being. Clients will leave our sessions feeling heard and understood, validated, and have confidence and conviction in how they feel. They will have greater insight into who they are, what their next steps are, and they will have developed confidence and self-reliance to accomplish their goals and be their best version of themself.

Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. I specialize in integrative individual and couples therapy for the mind and body. My perspective on therapy starts with the central belief that if you listen to your clients, they will always tell you what's going on. While that may seem very basic, unfortunately, there is very little listening going on these days. When we are listened to and are unconditionally respected and accepted, we instinctively have the right stuff inside of us to figure out our issues. That's how we become empowered . That's how we grow. Whether you're dealing with overwhelming anxiety, relationship issues or depression. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion, understanding and respect. And I will use the latest evidence-based techniques to support you in your journey Helping you find that inner strength and resolve is what makes me uniquely qualified to help.

Hi, I'm Amneris Rosario – I'm glad you're here. Let me guess: You've been thinking about therapy for a while now. Maybe months. Maybe years. But something kept stopping you – too busy, too expensive, "it's not that bad yet," or maybe just the fear of opening up to a stranger who might judge you or not really get it. Here's what I want you to know: You're already doing the hardest part by being here. You don't need to wait until things get worse. You don't need permission to ask for help. And you definitely don't have to figure this out alone. That's literally what I'm here for. As a board-certified bilingual therapist (MS, LMHC, LPC, NCC), veteran, and founder of Time to Talk Therapy, I've spent 10 years supporting 700+ clients through trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions that felt impossible. I've worked everywhere from crisis units and corrections facilities to refugee shelters and quiet therapy rooms – supporting people through chronic mental illness, personality disorders, abuse, addiction, trauma, ADHD, OCD, and some of the hardest moments of their lives — and here's what I know for sure: Healing doesn't require perfection. It requires honesty and someone who actually gets it. You're not broken. You're dealing with hard things. And you deserve support that feels supportive – not cold, not judgmental, not like one more thing you're supposed to "fix" about yourself. I specialize in: • Trauma & PTSD • Anxiety & Depression • Self-Sabotage & Repeating Patterns • Complex PTSD & Personality Disorders • Life Transitions I know life can get busy, so I offer weekend availability, early-morning sessions, and after-hours appointments (6:00 AM–10:00 PM), along with self-pay options to give you a little more flexibility.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping adults find balance and meaning during life’s more challenging seasons. Many of the people I work with are experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship stress, or transitions that have left them feeling disconnected from themselves or uncertain about what comes next. My approach is strength-based and holistic, grounded in the belief that each person has an inner resilience and wisdom that can guide them toward healing. I strive to create a warm, compassionate space where you can slow down, reflect, and rediscover what truly supports your well-being—mentally, emotionally, and physically. I was drawn to this work because I’ve seen how transformative it can be when people feel genuinely heard and supported. It’s a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they reconnect with their strengths, deepen self-awareness, and begin to create lives that feel more authentic, grounded, and fulfilling.

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by Florida rather than a city like Tampa?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Florida from Miami to Jacksonville! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Florida.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on a specific issue?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

What are the "Clients say I’m" badges?

Grow Therapy asks patients about their experience with therapists after they have had a certain number of sessions. After enough responses, we add those characteristics to their profiles to help you find the best online therapists for you. We're still working on collecting this information from all our therapists.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What to expect during your first session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
