Kimberly Drummond
Welcome. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping adults improve their mental and emotional well-being. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions, with a special focus on women's mental health, including postpartum depression, PMDD, and perimenopausal mood changes. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each individual's unique needs, helping clients feel empowered to achieve lasting wellness and balance.
First session
During our first session, we'll take time to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to treatment. I'll ask questions about your current symptoms, mental health history, medical history, lifestyle, and personal goals so I can gain a comprehensive understanding of your needs. Together, we'll identify your concerns, discuss treatment options, and develop a personalized plan that aligns with your goals. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel heard and understood from the very beginning.
Strengths
My approach stands out because I combine evidence-based psychiatric care with a compassionate, collaborative style that prioritizes the whole person—not just symptoms. I take time to understand each client's unique experiences, strengths, and goals, and I tailor treatment plans to fit their individual needs and lifestyle. With a special focus on women's mental health, including postpartum depression, PMDD, and perimenopausal mood changes, I provide informed and empathetic support for concerns that are often overlooked. Clients can expect a supportive, judgment-free environment where they feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their care.
Ideal clients
I am best positioned to support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and challenges related to emotional well-being. I have a particular interest in women's mental health, including postpartum depression, PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder), perimenopausal mood changes, and the emotional demands of balancing personal, family, and professional responsibilities. I work with clients who are seeking a compassionate, collaborative approach and are motivated to develop effective coping strategies, improve resilience, and achieve meaningful, lasting change.
