(she/her)
Hello there! I'm so glad you decided to take the next step in trying to figure out your inner world. Many of us, me included, have always been curious about what makes us tick and how we become who we are today. And with me being a fellow person diagnosed with ADHD, I genuinely love where my curiosity (and humor) takes me in session with clients. With me as your therapist, I can help provide a different perspective, insight, and coping strategies to help navigate this period of your life that may feel a little 'stuck'.
Our first session entails a thorough look into your history, including past experiences, values, and current concerns. As a therapist, I like look at all perspectives of a client's life in order to determine the best course of treatment and recovery.
My eclectic life experience and work experience has continuously helped me more inquisitive and empathetic towards any client I have worked with. From experience working in community mental health, crisis stabilization, and private practice, I recognize that therapy is not one size fits all. I pride myself at being able to have the patience and connection with a future client helps strengthen positive outcomes within our work together.
I work with individuals who seem like they got it all figured out but are missing a big piece of themselves. They can potentially understand how they got here but not how to help 'fix' the things that still cause some problems in our day-to-day life. I love clients who are motivated, curious, and express willingness to explore any and all parts of themselves in order to help them get to the root of their concerns, or to find ways to ease the emotional pain they are experiencing.
Integrative
I have been utilizing Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help client's heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. Since first training in the modality in 2024, it has been utilized in my practice for those dealing with PTSD symptoms, depression, anxiety, and other stress-related problems. ART utilizes bilateral stimulation to help the client alleviate negative thoughts, images, and bodily sensations when experiencing symptoms by calming the body and help reprocess our reaction towards them. It integrates components of CBT, trauma-focused modalities, exposure, and somatic processing to help alleviate the client from their symptoms. In my practice, I utilize this with other modalities while working with a client or it can be used alone for short-term relief of symptoms in as little as 1-5 sessions.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
In my practice, I utilize DBT to help further provide coping strategies and assertive communication skills to my clients. This type of therapy helps manage intense emotional reactions in clients while attempting to further explore root causes of behavior and negative thought patterns. It can be utilized for those with history of self harm, suicidal ideation, or those who experience feelings very deeply. As a deep feeling therapist and human, these skills are a great foundation for the therapeutic relationship and to bring acceptance to our emotional experience.
Relational
To me as a professional, the therapeutic alliance with our clients showcases the ability to achieve the most progress and recovery. Relational therapy utilizes our therapeutic relationship to help build resilience, confidence within ourselves, and better build relationships with others outside of the therapy room. I also utilize attachment theory in conjunction with this modality to help provide more insight into your relationship patterns and further identify the means in which to change in order to get more from your relationships, especially within the relationship with yourself.
Strength-Based
With strength-based therapy (and a little bit of psychoeducation thrown in!), I integrate your established skills to help further increase progress and outcomes. I am the type of therapist whom likes to thoroughly understand your inner world and utilize your strengths to work best for your therapeutic work. I utilize this type of modality with my neurodivergent folx the most to, in turn, increase self-compassion and support for behavioral strategies to help with executive functioning and discovering our inner advocate!

She made me feel very comfortable talking with her. I was quite nervous and she reassured me throughout the session. She made sure I was comfortable with her asking questions and let me know if there was anything I didn’t want to answer, I wouldn’t have to.
