New to Grow
I believe that therapy should be rooted in compassion, understanding, and respect for each person's unique experiences. I value diversity & welcome clients from all walks of life, creating a safe and exclusive space where every voice is heard. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients, identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts while developing healthier ways to navigate life's challenges. Together, we will work towards building resilience, fostering, self-awareness, and creating meaningful change.
In our first session, I'll take the time to get to know you by exploring what brings you to therapy, your past experiences, and what you hoped to gain from therapy. Will also identify your support system, and I'll provide space for you to share whatever feels important for our work together.
My greatest strengths are my ability to connect with clients & meet them where they are on this journey. My laid back, down earth approach allows clients to feel comfortable enough to let their guard down, so I can help them. I enjoy using a variety of methods and therapeutic approaches based on what the client needs. I absolutely love to see the result of my client's hard work through the therapy process.
My ideal client is committed to therapy. They want to change and know they have to put in the work to get something different. I enjoy working with the adult population. Although I also do enjoy working with older teens, I do not offer therapy sessions outside of school hours. If you are homeschooled or have early release as a senior. I do not provide therapy services with anyone who is in need of a higher level of care, such as impatient. If you are at risk of hurting yourself or others, I encourage you to locate someone who specializes in crisis intervention as we will not be a good fit and I would need to refer you out.
I help clients develop coping skills and tools that they can use to change their own thinking problematic emotions and behavior for a better life.
I am mindful about things like traditions, family, structure, language, community influence, and client worldview that may of impact your mental health.
I help clients see their own self efficacy, hope, and confidence.

I help guide individuals to create a heightened sense of awareness of their own thoughts, and emotions, bodily sensations and surrounding environment. This is a non-judgmental way to develop a deeper understanding of their inner experiences and patterns of reactivity.
