TINA Charls
Hello - Thank you for your interest in my services. My name is Tina Charls and I am the founder and owner of Charls Counseling, PLLC. I am a native of Arizona, born and raised in Tucson. I relocated to Chandler, AZ in 2013. I have served in various roles throughout my 12 years of experience in community mental health, most recently as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Clinical Supervisor.
First session
I have expansive training and experience working with trauma, PTSD, mood and personality disorders, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideations, and self-harming behavior. My approach to therapy includes cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, schema therapy, and other trauma-informed interventions. I am trained in the neurobiology of trauma and stress and empower clients to heal the mind-body disconnect that often creates barriers to progress in therapy. We will work together towards a path of healing in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
