With over 15 total years experience in behavioral health, I welcome the opportunity to work with you in your area of concern. I am here to guide, support, and empower you in your personal journey to conquer items such as trauma, anger management, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, I offer marriage and family therapy, assertiveness training, and threat those who struggle with any danger to self/other behaviors.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

10 years experience with Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) utilized to assist individuals who struggle to manage and regulate emotions. Also utilized for individuals who struggle with the following: Borderline personality disorder, self-harm, suicidal behavior, Post-traumatic stress disorder, subrange use disorder, eating disorder, depression, and anxiety.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

15 years experience with Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Used to assist clients in becoming aware of inaccurate or negative thinking she they can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effect and empowering way.

Strength-Based

15 years experience with strength-based modalities. Type of psychotherapy that focuses on an individuals internal strengths, empowerment, and resourcefulness, rather than their weaknesses, failures, and shortcomings.

Motivational Interviewing

13 years experience using motivational interviewing. Used to assist individuals with ambivalent feelings and insecurities to find the internal motivation they need to change their behavior focusing on empathy and short-term goals that helps individuals build towards long-term goals.
