Dr. Valdes employs a variety of treatment methods to provide comprehensive care. He conducts psychiatric evaluations, manages medications, and utilizes tailored evidence-based therapies like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques. Emphasizing psychoeducation, he empowers patients with knowledge about their conditions and collaborates with them to create personalized treatment plans. He also ensures ongoing support through regular follow-ups, fostering effective and compassionate mental health care.

An authentic person, intelligent, solution-oriented, empowering, open-minded, warm and humorous and also direct when he needs to be. It took me a while to warm up to him just because that is how I am with everyone but he is a very kind and grounded human being and a very respectful professional and he always gives you the information upfront and gives you a choice, whether or not you'd like to move forward. He definitely has superseded my expectations.
