During our first session together, before diving into treatment, we will briefly discuss expectations for therapy. More specifically, I respect the time that you have made to meet with me and I want to make each session as useful as possible for you.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I have had the great fortune of studying from Dr. Steven Hayes, founder of ACT-Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My in depth understanding allows me to share this evidenced based therapy to help clients move forward and live lives with joy and meaning.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

Through my considerable experiences utilizing ERP (Exposure Response Prevention); I help clients put this “gold standard” treatment into practice and get back in control. They learn to manage and respond to intrusive thoughts, unwanted memories and the painfully difficult condition of OCD.

Compassion Focused

It has truly been a privilege to study and learn from Dr. Paul Gilbert, the founder of Compassion Focused Therapy. With this approach I concentrate on helping clients relate to their difficulties in compassionate ways, as well as provide them with effective tools to work with challenging circumstances and emotions they encounter.
