I’ve been a counselor and a coach for over a dozen years now and I have learned that to be our best, to truly make positive changes in our lives we need to address the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. Our goal is the full integration of the emotional child, the intellectual adult, the physical body, and the spirit guide (soul). I believe that everyone is capable of, is in fact entitled to, a life of happiness, love, peace, and fulfillment. I utilize an integrative approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), empathetic listening, mindfulness, and spirituality. Whether you are suffering from an acute mental/behavioral health condition or simply are seeking to make some positive changes in your life I can help. I have over 10 years of experience counseling adults, couples, and families in the areas of relationships, trauma, grief, addiction, stress, and general mental health. I treat all types of mood and personality disorders including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and many others. I also coach in the areas of career, education, life balance, personal growth, and self-realization. Please reach out today. Whatever you're going through, you don't have to do it alone.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is the cornerstone of how I work. Simply put, it is the process of helping the client see how their own actions and attitudes affect their life, and then replacing ineffective behaviors and attitudes with others that will create the life that the client desires.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

We can not address that which we are not aware of. Mindfulness based practice is designed to aid the individual create a more consistent connection to the the realities of the here and now.

Couples Counseling

Healthy individuals make for healthy relationships. Couples therapy is two pronged: 1) guiding each partner to own what they are creating in the relationship (positive and negative) and guided them to become their "best selves. 2) developing a set of relationship and communication skills to foster the maintenance and growth of the union.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Built on CBT, DBT utilizes a specific set of skills and strategies to create positive changer in the individuals life.

Faith based therapy

I believe the the human being is comprised of 4 elements: the physical body, the emotional child, the intellectual adult, and the spirit guide. To live most fully all four must be integrated. A "Wise Mind" is the integration of emotions, thought, and spirit. This is a spiritual approach, but depending on the the individual client, it may or may not be specifically religious.
