I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing personalized psychiatric care for adolescents and adults throughout New York and ND. I believe the best treatment begins with listening. Every person has a unique story, and I take the time to understand not only your symptoms, but also your goals, strengths, and the challenges that have brought you here. Whether you're seeking help for ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, mood concerns, or simply trying to better understand what you're experiencing, my goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care in a supportive and collaborative environment. I offer both secure telehealth visits across New York State and in-person appointments at my Manhattan office, making care accessible while maintaining a personal connection with every patient.

First session

Your first appointment is typically 50 to 60 minutes and is designed to help us build a complete picture of your mental health. We'll discuss your current concerns, personal and family history, previous treatments, medical history, lifestyle, and any questions or goals you have for treatment. Rather than rushing to a diagnosis or medication, I believe in taking the time to understand the full context of your experiences. If ADHD is a concern, we'll begin a comprehensive evaluation that may include additional questionnaires, collateral information when appropriate, and, in some cases, computerized testing before making recommendations. By the end of our session, you'll have a clearer understanding of the next steps, and together we'll develop a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs and preferences.

Strengths

I strive to create a space where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care. I take a thoughtful, collaborative approach, explaining diagnoses and treatment options in a way that is easy to understand so you can make informed decisions with confidence. Patients often appreciate that I am thorough without being overwhelming. I value open communication, pay close attention to the details that can easily be overlooked, and believe that successful treatment comes from building a trusting relationship over time—not simply prescribing medication. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop practical strategies for lasting improvement, and feel supported every step of the way.

Ideal clients

I work best with individuals who are ready to better understand themselves and are looking for a thoughtful, collaborative approach to their mental health. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with depression, questioning whether ADHD may be affecting your daily life, or navigating a major life transition, we'll work together to identify what's getting in the way and develop a plan that feels realistic and personalized. My ideal clients don't need to have all the answers before reaching out. Many come to me feeling frustrated, stuck, or unsure of where to begin. They value open communication, want to understand their diagnosis and treatment options, and are looking for a provider who takes the time to listen, explain, and partner with them throughout their care. My goal is to help each person build confidence, improve their well-being, and create meaningful, lasting change.
