LMFT, 3 years of experience
New to Grow
As a mother, partner, daughter, and proud Latina, I value family, culture, and connection in both my personal life and my work as a therapist. I am also a dog mom to two Frenchies, a lover of books, and someone who is deeply passionate about social justice and caring for others. Since entering the mental health field in 2017, I have dedicated myself to supporting individuals through life’s challenges with compassion and respect. My approach is grounded in empathy and authenticity, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
Our first session is really about getting to know you. I’ll ask about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and what life has been like for you recently. I see therapy as a conversation where we work together to make sense of what you’re going through and explore what might help. It may take time, but my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and not alone as we figure things out together.
My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to meet clients where they are, no matter what they’re going through. Since 2017, I’ve worked with children, teens, and young adults navigating crisis, dual diagnoses, and major life transitions. These experiences taught me how to stay calm in the midst of intensity and to truly listen to what each person needs. Over the years, I’ve worked in crisis programs, case management, residential treatment, and school-based services—each role deepening my ability to support clients through challenges with empathy and practical tools. What stands out about my approach is that I bring both professional training and genuine care into every session. I see therapy as a safe space for collaboration, where clients feel heard, respected, and encouraged as they move toward growth.
If you’re feeling stressed, stuck, or just not like yourself, you don’t have to go through it alone. I work with people who want a safe and supportive space to share their story and find new ways forward. Together, we’ll explore what’s been holding you back and practice simple tools that can make life feel a little lighter. My goal is to make you feel seen, understood, and encouraged as you take steps toward the changes you want.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because it helps clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical coping skills. I value CBT’s structured and collaborative approach, which empowers clients to make meaningful, lasting changes.
I practice Multicultural Therapy because I believe our cultural backgrounds and lived experiences shape who we are. Having personally experienced what it’s like to move through the world in a body and culture that feel different, I strive to honor and celebrate those differences with my clients.
