My approach in counseling comes from a place of non-judgment and compassion. I want to know all of who you are, light and darkness. It is from this place that deep and true healing happens. I believe problems such as depression, anxiety, addiction, etc. stem from difficult early life experiences. Our early life experiences shape our views of ourselves, the world, and others, which can later cause us significant problems as adults. My passion as a therapist is to help others to learn to love more fully and live more freely in this world. By doing so, my clients have then been able to take action from a place of courage and confidence. They are no longer paralyzed by fear, and they have a deeper understanding of their personal power and worth. I would love to have the opportunity to partner with you on your healing journey.
Every therapy session I schedule is deeply personal and important for us both. Consequently, I begin all services with an initial evaluation process that can span between 1-3 sessions. Each session typically runs 55-60 minutes. During this process, we will get to know each other, achieve a better understanding of your concerns, identify your goals for therapy, and develop a treatment plan. My passion as a therapist is to help you learn to love more fully and live more freely in this world. I create a safe, supportive space from which you can take action, tapping into your inner courage and confidence. I integrate a variety of proven and advanced modalities into my therapy sessions, giving you the treatment processes best suited for your personal needs and goals.
