Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Texas and have been practicing for over 15 years. I specialize in trauma work and anxiety disorders, while I’m also equipped to address other mental health needs. I’d like to come alongside you to help you navigate through difficult life events or stressors. We’ll partner to identify maladaptive coping skills and focus on developing healthy strategies that move you toward enjoying a life full of meaning and purpose.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first visit, I will gather background information and complete a thorough assessment and evaluation to ensure that I have the skills and experience to help you. This is also the time for you to decide if I am the right therapist for you. This is an important decision that requires a commitment of your time and finances, so you should be comfortable with your choice. The completion of the evaluation and the decision to continue therapy is a joint one and marks the beginning of the therapeutic relationship.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

The human experience includes so many different challenges, and I am the first to acknowledge my own areas of need for personal growth. I often practice the same evidence-based strategies I recommend to my clients. Being self aware of my own needs, keeps me grounded and deepens my respect, compassion, and empathy toward others.
