Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a gentle beginning to your therapy journey. We’ll spend our time getting to know each other and creating a space that feels safe, comfortable, and free of judgment. This is your time to share what’s been on your mind, what brings you here, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask a few questions to learn more about your background and experiences, but there’s no rush and no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll begin to explore your goals and start shaping a path toward healing, clarity, and growth. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and a little more hopeful about the steps ahead. Just come as you are—this is your space to be real, rest, and begin again.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I specialize in providing therapeutic treatment for clients struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mood and behavioral issues. I have several years of working with adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population. My empathic ability helps me to make sure you feel heard and validated. I provide a safe space for you free from judgment, criticism, and fear. I am fortunate to witness and experience different individuals and communities from different cultures, which allows me to provide fresh perspectives to allow clients to explore possibilities in a safe and welcoming learning environment that cultivate resilience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m honored to support individuals across the lifespan—from adolescents to the geriatric population—who are seeking understanding, healing, and growth. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or uncertain about the next steps in their lives. Some are navigating major transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling disconnected from themselves and the life they want to live. I work best with clients who are open to exploring their emotions, experiences, and personal stories in a safe and nonjudgmental space. Whether you’re an adolescent learning to manage new emotions, an adult balancing life’s demands, or an older adult seeking peace and meaning in later stages of life, my approach remains the same—compassionate, collaborative, and empowering. Together, we’ll focus on helping you strengthen your sense of self, build resilience, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and calm.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

My approach to therapy is eclectic, meaning I draw from a variety of evidence-based methods to meet each client’s unique needs, goals, and personality. I believe that no single approach works for everyone—healing looks different for each person, and therapy should reflect that individuality. One of the primary approaches I use is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps clients recognize how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck and practice new ways of thinking and responding that promote growth, balance, and emotional well-being. Depending on what best supports you, I may also integrate elements of solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, person-centered therapy, and strengths-based techniques. This allows us to move at your pace while focusing on what feels most meaningful and helpful for you in the moment. Above all, my goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and empowering space where you can heal, gain insight, and develop practical tools to support lasting change.
