If you come from a family that can't give you the emotional support you need; are in your relationship questioning whether to leave or stay, or just need someone who will listen without judging you, I am here for you. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Indiana with a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. I have a doctorate degree in Christian Education and can provide faith-integrated counseling, upon request.
In our first session together, you can expect a couple questions from me about you, your current challenges and what you’ve noticed is or isn’t working in your attempts to resolve these issues. If you’ve had therapy before, we’ll also spend a little time finding out what you found helpful or preferences you have for treatment so that when creating a plan of action for your current challenges, we don’t waste time with things you already know don’t serve you well.
I provide empathetic, culturally aware, faith-informed care and am passionate about supporting my clients by addressing their unique challenges with compassion and practical solutions.
I work with individuals 12yrs and up, couples and families, with a speciality in diverse-structured families (blended, step and single-parent). I do my best work with clients who are motivated and can identify that something in their life or relationship needs to change and are seeking support while navigating those changes.
I use an eclectic approach to therapy which allows me to create treatment techniques specifically tailored to your individual needs.
