Hi! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Georgia with an Ed.S. in Professional Counseling and Supervision from the University of West Georgia. I’ve been practicing for 10 years and specialize in helping adults navigate life transitions, relational stress, and the lingering effects of trauma. My approach is holistic and collaborative—I blend mind-body practices, psychoeducation, and compassionate support to help clients feel more grounded, self-aware, and emotionally resilient.
In our first session, we’ll focus on building a sense of safety and connection. I’ll invite you to share what’s bringing you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll explore your story at a pace that feels comfortable for you—there’s no pressure to share everything right away. I’ll also share a bit about my approach and answer any questions you have, so we can begin creating a space that feels supportive, collaborative, and aligned with your goals.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to hold space with warmth, compassion, and presence. With over ten years of clinical experience—and a lifetime of lived experience navigating healing, caregiving, and growth—I bring both professional insight and personal understanding to the work. Clients often tell me they feel safe, deeply seen, and accepted when we work together. I’m known for my calming energy, my ability to connect the dots, and my gentle but honest guidance. I integrate mind-body practices, psychoeducation, and relational insight to support lasting change from the inside out.
I work best with adults who are self-aware, reflective, and ready to do the inner work—but may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients are women navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, or the emotional weight of always being the strong one. I specialize in supporting those healing from relational trauma—whether rooted in childhood, past partnerships, or patterns of people-pleasing. My clients long to feel safe in their bodies, clear in their boundaries, and connected to their true selves.
I incorporate a holistic lens into my work by providing psychoeducation on the mind-body connection, helping clients understand how stress, trauma, and emotions manifest physically. I integrate somatic approaches such as grounding exercises, breathwork, and body awareness practices to support nervous system regulation and emotional processing. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their bodies as a source of insight, safety, and healing.
My approach to therapy is grounded in trauma-informed principles that prioritize emotional safety, choice, and empowerment. I recognize how past trauma can shape current behaviors, beliefs, and nervous system responses. I work collaboratively with clients to build trust, increase self-awareness, and gently process difficult experiences at a pace that feels supportive. I also integrate psychoeducation and body-based tools to help clients understand and navigate trauma responses with greater compassion and control.
I view healing as a relational process. Through an interpersonal lens, I help clients explore how past and present relationships influence their sense of self, patterns of connection, and emotional well-being. Our therapeutic relationship becomes a space to practice new ways of relating—with more authenticity, trust, and boundaries. This approach supports clients in shifting unhelpful relational dynamics and developing healthier, more fulfilling connections.
