New to Grow
Welcome! I’m Halley, a licensed clinical professional counselor here in Maine. I specialize in working with people navigating typical life stressors as well as more challenging hurdles. My therapeutic approach is solution-focused, validating, and goal-oriented. I want to help you make progress toward bettering your life. My focus is on working with individuals seeking deeper emotional understanding, greater self-compassion, and practical tools to navigate life's challenges. I specialize in supporting clients who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected—whether due to anxiety, trauma, neurodiversity, or life transitions.
First sessions are pretty straightforward—gathering information from you to understand what your goals are for therapy is an important foundation for creating a solid treatment plan. As life changes, so may your goals. We can check in to explore what your needs are as your therapeutic journey progresses.
I'm a listener and empath by nature, so hearing your story is important to me. Learning about your lived experiences helps me understand your perspectives, wants, and needs from the therapy process, and to help shape the goals for your treatment plan. I've always been drawn to helping others feel seen, heard, and supported. I believe in the power of connection and the strength that can come from being truly understood. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural path—one that allows me to combine empathy, curiosity, and purpose in a way that supports real healing and change.
Ultimately, my goals are my client’s goals. My ideal clients are open to exploring their inner world and are ready to make meaningful change, even if they’re unsure where to start.
