Welcome to your first step at receiving the care you need. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with a Master of Science degree from California State University, Los Angeles. I have experience helping clients with a wide range of challenges, and I believe you have the strength within you to overcome what you're facing. I was drawn to the field of mental healthcare through my own personal experiences and a deep desire to help others. Pursuing my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at California State University, Los Angeles, provided me with the knowledge and skills to support individuals in their healing journeys. My goal is to empower you to lead a more fulfilling and authentic life. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, or personal growth, I am here to walk alongside you. Together, we will work to identify and overcome obstacles, build resilience, and cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness and self-compassion.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship and understanding your unique needs and goals. I will ask questions to learn more about your background, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have and determine if we are a good fit to work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from modalities such as Interpersonal, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Trauma-Focused therapies. I believe you are the expert of your own story, and my role is to support, guide, and empower you in your journey of growth and healing. My communication style is warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I aim to create a safe space where you feel heard, validated, and supported. Together, we will work to identify your goals, build on your strengths, and develop coping strategies to navigate life's challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with individuals facing challenges such as relationship issues, trauma, abuse, low self-esteem, and life transitions. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and provide culturally sensitive care to clients from diverse backgrounds.

My treatment methods

Interpersonal

Our relationships help make us happy and content, or miserable in our lives. I specialize in communication issues with partners, family members, friends and work colleagues. If we can learn to understand ourselves and express our needs and boundaries in more appropriate ways, we are more likely to have the relationships we desire in our lives.
