New to Grow
If you’ve been holding it together with caffeine, sarcasm, and pure willpower, we should talk. I’m Dr. Patrick Hanson DSW, LCSW, a practitioner who helps people heal from anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, and the ghosts of childhood that still sneak up on us. I keep things honest, compassionate, and sometimes even funny, because therapy works best when you can actually be yourself. I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families to tackle life’s curve balls. In my office, you will find space to laugh, cry, and grow.
We move at whatever pace feels most comfortable for you. My goal is to provide a space where you feel seen, heard, supported and challenged. We explore the emotions that have been stuck deep down as well as those that are sitting on the surface.
I specialize in working with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from carrying the weight of anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, or past experiences. I help clients better understand themselves, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful change while building a life that feels more balanced and authentic.
Let’s be honest...finding the right therapist is tough. I'll skip the generic buzzwords and get to the point. We might be a good fit if you appreciate a therapist who is direct, genuine, and willing to challenge you when needed. Therapy with me often includes laughter, honest conversations, and the occasional gentle call-out when people-pleasing, avoidance, or old patterns start running the show. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship stress, anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and life's many challenges.
