Hi there and welcome! I have been a social worker for over twenty years. My goal is for you to come away with feeling you were heard in a safe and nonjudgmental space and together we can assist you achieve life goals that help you lead the best life possible. It is an honor to be on this journey with you.
I strongly believe with impowering you as much as possible. Therefore, I would like for you to feel comfortable speaking to me about what you are experiencing. Then together, we can set up treatment goals that you are in agreement with and understand that they can be changed at any time.
My approach has always been to make you feel as comfortable as possible when we are meeting. I understand how difficult it can be to share your story with a stranger and I try and go out of my way to make you feel you are appreciated for trusting me and that I am here to listen and help as much as I can.
My areas of interest have strongly focused on grief and bereavement but I have also assisted clients struggling with depression and anxiety.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I’ve been using CBT in my practice for many years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge recurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact with one another. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a more relaxed and less stressful life.
Grief Therapy
I utilize a supportive, client-centered approach to grief counseling, providing a safe and nonjudgmental environment for you to process emotions related to loss. Interventions focused on empathic listening, validation of your emotional experience, and normalization of grief reactions. I encourage open discussion of memories, feelings, and the personal meaning of the loss while supporting you in identifying healthy coping strategies and sources of support.
