About me

Life can be overwhelming, and you don't have to face it alone. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, therapy can help you gain clarity, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs because I believe therapy should fit the individual, not the other way around. Together, we'll identify the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical tools to navigate life's challenges, and draw on your existing strengths to help you move forward with greater confidence. I work with adults from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, using evidence-based approaches that are both compassionate and practical. My goal is to help you gain insight while also equipping you with the skills needed to create lasting change beyond the therapy office. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, but you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. If you're ready to make a change, I'd be honored to support you on your journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to achieve. I'll also ask questions about your personal history, relationships, and other areas of your life to better understand your unique experiences. This is also your opportunity to ask questions, share any concerns, and determine whether we're a good fit. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and understood. By the end of our first session, we'll have a clearer understanding of your goals and begin developing a plan tailored to your needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe the strongest therapeutic relationships balance compassion with honest feedback. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood while also helping you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. At times, that means simply listening and holding space. At other times, it means asking thoughtful questions, offering a different perspective, or gently challenging beliefs and behaviors that no longer serve you. I strive to make therapy both supportive and practical. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop new skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels appropriate for you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives. The clients I work best with are open to self-reflection and willing to engage in the therapeutic process, even if they're unsure where to begin. You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You're just willing to take the first step.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I use an attachment-based approach that looks at how our early relationships shape how we see ourselves, connect with others, and respond to life's challenges. By understanding these patterns, we can work together to build healthier relationships and create lasting change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we'll identify unhelpful patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and build healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps clients respond to difficult thoughts and emotions in healthier ways instead of feeling controlled by them. Together, we'll focus on developing psychological flexibility, building on your strengths, and taking meaningful steps toward the life you want to live.
