- Are you tired of talking to people but continue to feel unheard? - Have you noticed that you continue to change things in your life but still feel like something is missing? - Do you feel like you keep trying to figure out who you are, yet still continue to take care of others and not yourself? Well, if you identify with any of these, I’m here to help! My name is Marinieves, but most refer to me as Mary. I work with children, couples, families, and adults who are trying to understand and better themselves by processing and learning from their life experiences. In our work together you will have the opportunity to learn how to identify what is currently posing a challenge in your life and how to overcome it. Through the use of a strength-based approach, we will embrace real conversations in a judgment-free environment that cultivates honesty and transparency. My role will be to provide you with education and serve as a guide as you choose what you want for your life and learn how to get there. Whether you are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or any other challenge life has offered to you, I am here to listen, meet you where you are at, and walk alongside you while providing culturally pertinent, evidence-based practices and interventions. Let’s see the progress you can make, together! In addition, I am fully bilingual in English and Español. Estoy aqui para ayudarte. Want to see more? Check out my website:

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will do brief introductions, explore the reasons that bring you to therapy at this time, collaboratively identify the goals you would like to pursue in therapy, and discuss how we can help you achieve them.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is my ability to listen, understand, and create a safe space where you can feel comfortable talking about the challenges that may feel uncomfortable to talk about. In this space, I like to provide you with the opportunity of embracing authentic discussions because I firmly believe that if there is one space where you can be your true self, it's therapy! Practicing that in therapy will help you expand this skill everywhere else. My focus is to help you explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all connected. This can help manage anxiety, depression, stress, relationship/family conflicts, and trauma, amongst others. I work with people that are trying to find mental peace, let go of outside expectations, and create a life that feels more fulfilling to them.
