In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we will discuss the establishing of safety, trust, and confidentiality within the therapeutic relationship. We will also work together to set a desired treatment goal, session frequency, and how I can support you on your journey to a healthier wellbeing. We will also talk about your current symptoms and what is causing distress at this time in your life, who are your current supports, and what you've been utilizing to cope. I often aim to keep the initial session to under one hour and try my best to ensure you feel comfortable and regulated before we end our intake session.

Lauren was fantastic. Made me feel comfortable to literally let everything out. I’ve never been able to share about my some specific history in the past. I always set up a boundary with all my previous therapists. But for whatever reason she made me feel so comfortable that I felt that I could. So thank you for being there and accepting that information with grace and support. Also loved her philosophy and organization of the time spent. I didn’t feel like any time was wasted like I have with other therapist. She brought order, compassion and a sense of humor that I really appreciate. I’m excited to learn more on how to better myself.
