(she/her)
I hold a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Lutheran University and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with specialized training in EMDR (services provided outside of insurance). My therapeutic approach integrates Humanistic, Attachment-based, and Trauma-Informed perspectives, alongside Family Systems theory. I am passionate about ongoing professional development and staying informed of current research to ensure meaningful connection and high-quality care for those I serve.
The first session is an opportunity to explore overall fit and begin building comfort together, as this work is meaningful and personal. I believe trust develops over time, and this initial meeting is a space to start that process. We will discuss your experiences, review my approach, and ensure that our work aligns with the goals you hope to achieve through therapy.
I believe that creating a safe, welcoming, and authentic space is essential to the therapeutic process. By using a strengths-based approach, I strive to honor each person’s unique experiences, resilience, and existing resources. This foundation allows trust to develop at a natural pace and supports meaningful, collaborative work toward goals that feel aligned, realistic, and personally important.
I have the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients and strive to offer an affirming, inclusive, and integrative therapeutic space. My approach is tailored to each individual and relationship, drawing from multiple therapeutic perspectives to best support the unique needs and goals of those I work with. I support couples (services provided outside of insurance), LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those exploring or navigating gender nonconformity, while honoring the intersections of identity, relationships, and lived experience. My practice also includes a strong focus on individual therapy, with particular expertise in grief and loss, where I integrate compassionate, evidence-informed approaches to support integration of experiences, meaning-making, and resilience.
