New to Grow
I am an experienced therapist who works primarily with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, and the pressure of feeling like they have to have everything figured out. I take a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach that focuses on helping clients build self-compassion and notice patterns that may not longer be serving them. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, confident and connected in their daily lives and relationships.
Your first session with me is pretty laid-back and focused on getting to know each other. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy and what you're hoping to get out of it, and I'll share a bit about how I work. It's really about starting to build comfort and connection, not diving into anything too heavy right away. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard and a little more at ease with the process.
What sets me apart is that I keep things relaxed and down-to-earth, so clients can feel comfortable being themselves. One of my biggest strengths is helping clients take what we talk about in session and actually use it in their everyday lives, in a way that feels simple, doable, and real.
My ideal clients are teens and young adults who feel stuck in their own heads—often overthinking, second-guessing themselves, or being much harder on themselves than they are on others. They may be navigating questions around identity, struggling in relationships, or feeling unsure how to manage the stress and expectations in their lives. For some, these patterns are connected to past experiences that continue to impact how they see themselves and relate to others. Clients I work with often place a lot of pressure on themselves or feel like they “should” have things figured out by now. They may have developed ways of coping—such as staying guarded, people-pleasing, or expecting the worst—that made sense in the context of their experiences. Clients who tend to be the best fit with me are those who are open to reflection, willing to consider new perspectives, and interested in making small, meaningful changes in their day-to-day lives. They may not feel confident yet, but there is a part of them that is ready for things to feel different and open to growth at their own pace.
Strength-Based
I use a strength-based approach to help client's recognize their existing strengths, build coping skills, and feel more confident navigating everyday stressors.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients notice and gently challenge unhelpful thought patterns that can impact how they feel and function. Together, we build practical skills to reframe those thoughts in more balanced ways, supporting greater emotional regulation.
Trauma Informed Care
I use a trauma-informed care approach to build safe, trusting relationships with clients by prioritizing emotional safety, consistency, and collaboration. I work to create a nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and in control of their therapeutic process.
