Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be all about getting to know each other to see if we are a good fit. I want to get to know what brings you to therapy, your goals, and introduce my approach to sessions. We will go at your pace, no matter how big or small your goal is.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I prioritize active and empathetic listening to create a judgment-free space. At times, I may encourage you to reflect on your experiences, and I'm here to navigate challenging conversations alongside you as a supportive and understanding partner.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client are women who have experienced trauma and is seeking to reclaim her life and well-being. She may feel overwhelmed, lost, or stuck, grappling with the emotional aftermath of her experiences. Despite her struggles, she possesses inner strengths and resilience waiting to be uncovered. She is open to self-exploration and is motivated to develop coping skills that empower her to navigate life's challenges. My approach emphasizes a safe, nurturing environment where she can express her feelings and learn practical tools for healing. By fostering self-compassion and emphasizing her innate strengths, I aim to guide her on a journey of growth and transformation, helping her to embrace her past as a stepping stone towards a brighter future. Together, we will cultivate a strong sense of self-worth and equip her with the strategies needed to thrive beyond her trauma.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I implement trauma-informed care by recognizing trauma's impact, fostering a safe environment, and promoting empowerment. I focus on building trust and utilizing active listening and prioritize clients’ autonomy in decision-making. Implement practices that reduce re-traumatization, like offering choices and respecting boundaries. I take the time to educate myself about trauma's effects on behavior and emotions, integrating this understanding into my interactions with my clients. Lastly I continuously seek feedback to improve my approach, ensuring my clients feel heard and supported.
