My counseling philosophy is rooted in the belief that our life experiences strongly impact who you are today. Together we will unveil your mental and emotional processes that influence your behavior. My goal is to collaborate guide and support you in creating the life you deserve and desire. My clients have seen powerful results as they learn to transform negative patterns towards living calm, productive, and meaningful lives.
Our first session will explore your current stressors and what led you to counseling. From there, we will explore different areas of your life as well as your goals for treatment.
I offer a compassionate, empathetic, non-judgmental, and safe space for you to process, discover, learn and grow.
Clients who see me are grappling with changes in their mood, repetitive intrusive thoughts, anxiety, trauma, relationship trouble and difficulty managing their emotions. I have a passion for helping clients get unstuck from areas holding them back, whether it's keeping relationships, worries about the future getting in the way of living life now, or past unpleasant experiences that are keeping you up at night. I work best with adults and couples who are ready to dig into the work and create a life filled with joy and meaning. I utilize an integrated approach including talk therapy, DBT, and EMDR.
I use EMDR to help clients process and heal from trauma and other distressing life experiences.
CBT is used for retructuring negative though patterns that allow symptoms to persist.
