Tasha Washington
You’re used to holding it all together—but stress, anxiety, or emotional exhaustion may be catching up. I help high-functioning women navigate burnout, regain balance, and feel like themselves again. I provide collaborative psychiatric care including diagnostic clarification, medication management, and support to stabilize symptoms of burnout, anxiety, depression, and stress-related concerns. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in psychiatric care.
First session
During your initial session, we will complete a comprehensive psychiatric assessment and discuss your symptoms, history, and current challenges in depth. You can expect a structured yet supportive space where we develop a clear, personalized plan to help you move toward mental health restoration.
Strengths
My approach is individualized, practical, and centered on your goals. I work with clients who want to feel more in control of their mental health, improve daily functioning, and regain a sense of balance in their personal and professional lives. I also work with therapists and other health providers when additional psychiatric support or clarity is needed.
Ideal clients
Many of my clients come to me when employment burnout, chronic stress, anxiety, or mood-related challenges begin affecting their work, relationships, and overall sense of well-being. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each individual’s goals. We focus on understanding what you’re experiencing, stabilizing symptoms, and creating a clear plan to help you regain balance, energy, and emotional resilience.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented type of talk therapy. It helps you identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, allowing you to change your behaviors and manage overwhelming feelings. It is primarily a short-term, practical approach focused on finding solutions to current, day-to-day problems
