Hello. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters degree from University of Phoenix and have been practicing for the past 8 years. I am dedicated to supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, and I recognize that trauma impacts not only thoughts and feelings but also physical and relational aspects of life.
In our first session, we will start with brief introductions, and you can share with me about current challenges you are facing in your personal or professional life. This will help me develop a plan to help you manage through those challenges and help you grow.
I have worked with clients who have experienced different types of traumas in their past to be able to overcome their challenges, process the trauma, and provide coping skills to help them continue to thrive and grow as an individual.
As a trauma-informed therapist, my role is to help clients process their past traumatic experiences. I aim to provide a safe and supportive space to empower my clients, help them with the healing process, and work toward building resiliency and developing coping strategies. I have worked with various populations, including children and adults, who have experienced sexual abuse, domestic violence, bullying, anxiety, and depression.
Person-centered therapy is a non-directive form of therapy that allows the client to process past feelings and emotions without judgment and in a safe space.
