Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

At our first session I’ll welcome you into a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable and heard. I’ll explain how therapy works, answer any questions you may have, and invite you to share what brings you in, your background, and what you hope to gain. With a humanistic, person-centered approach, we’ll collaboratively explore your therapy goals and define what positive change looks like for you. I’ll also review practical matters like confidentiality, scheduling, and paperwork. My focus is on building a trusting partnership and supporting your self-discovery from day one.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over a decade of experience, my practice is rooted in deep expertise across trauma recovery, anxiety, relationship dynamics, and identity development. My training spans psychodynamic therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and somatic approaches, allowing me to tailor interventions to each client's unique needs. This integrative perspective means I can address not just symptoms, but the underlying patterns and root causes of distress—helping clients achieve meaningful, lasting change. At the heart of my work is a humanistic, person-centered approach. I am committed to cultivating a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be themselves. Clients often share that they appreciate my ability to listen deeply and respond with honesty and empathy. I value your story and your strengths, and see you as an active partner in the healing process—not just a recipient of therapy, but a collaborator in your journey toward well-being. One of my greatest strengths lies in supporting survivors of complex trauma. Through extensive training and years of working with trauma-impacted individuals, couples, and families, I understand how trauma can shape emotions, relationships, and self-image. I draw upon evidence-based modalities and a holistic view of health—helping clients move beyond surviving to truly thriving. I believe well-being is more than the absence of symptoms—it's about feeling whole, connected, and authentic. I integrate mind-body principles and consider all dimensions of health in the therapy process. Whether working on anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or life transitions, I aim to support your growth, self-acceptance, and lasting empowerment.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I welcome clients who are seeking meaningful change and personal growth. My ideal clients may be struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, or self-esteem challenges. You might feel overwhelmed, stuck, or ready to explore new perspectives. I work best with those who value a warm, nonjudgmental space and are motivated to understand themselves and the world around them more deeply. With a humanistic approach, I support your journey toward empowerment, self-acceptance, and lasting well-being.
