Reaching out for therapy can feel like one of the hardest first steps, and I believe you deserve a space where you can simply be yourself, without fear of judgment. My goal is to create a supportive, compassionate environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward the life you want. I work with adolescents, adults, older adults, families, and athletes who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, or feelings of being stuck. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be keeping you from living the life you deserve while building practical tools to help you navigate challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion. I believe healing begins with curiosity rather than criticism. Many of us have learned to accept our thoughts as facts or carry beliefs about ourselves that were shaped by painful experiences. Therapy offers an opportunity to gently examine those beliefs, develop new perspectives, and reconnect with your strengths and values. My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed care to help you build resilience, increase emotional well-being, and create meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're looking for short-term support to work through a specific challenge or longer-term therapy to heal from past experiences, I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey toward healing and growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is simply an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. It's a conversation, not a test, and you are always in control of what you choose to share. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I'll also review confidentiality, answer any questions you have about the therapy process, and begin identifying meaningful goals that reflect your needs and priorities. Most importantly, I hope that you leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and confident that you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a genuine partnership built on trust, compassion, and curiosity. One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a space where clients feel safe to be themselves, without judgment or pressure. I take time to understand your unique experiences, recognize your strengths, and help you make sense of patterns that may no longer be serving you. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and a strengths-based, trauma-informed perspective. Together, we'll work to untangle unhelpful thoughts, strengthen resilience, and develop practical tools that support meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about your next steps, I believe healing begins with understanding, not self-criticism. My role is to help you explore your experiences with greater clarity and self-compassion so you can move forward with confidence, purpose, and a stronger connection to yourself.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is open to self-exploration and ready to invest in their personal growth, even if they're unsure where to begin. You don't need to have all the answers or know exactly what you want to change, only a willingness to be curious about your experiences and open to trying new perspectives. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, navigating a life transition, or healing from past experiences, therapy is a collaborative process that works best when we actively engage together. I meet every client with compassion, respect, and without judgment, honoring your unique pace while supporting you in creating meaningful, lasting change.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions rather than feeling controlled by them. Together, we'll build psychological flexibility, clarify what matters most to you, and take meaningful steps toward living a life that reflects your values, even during life's challenges.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. Together, we'll examine whether those thoughts are helpful or accurate, develop healthier ways of thinking, and build practical skills to improve emotional well-being and navigate everyday challenges with greater confidence.

Couples Counseling

I use couples counseling to help partners strengthen communication, deepen understanding, and navigate challenges together in a respectful, supportive environment. Whether you're working through conflict, rebuilding trust, adjusting to life transitions, or seeking a stronger connection, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop healthier ways of relating to one another.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I provide trauma-informed care by creating a safe, supportive space where healing can occur at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we'll explore how past experiences may be affecting your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily life while building practical coping skills, strengthening resilience, and helping you move toward greater healing and emotional well-being.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify their strengths, build on what is already working, and develop practical solutions to current challenges. Rather than focusing solely on problems, we'll work together to clarify your goals, identify your existing resources, and create small, meaningful steps that support positive, lasting change.
