I have been serving in the helping profession since 2011 and practicing as a licensed mental health professional since 2017. As a Christian trauma-informed therapist, I am passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate the effects of trauma, life transitions, emotional struggles, grief, and seasons of uncertainty. I believe healing occurs when individuals experience both compassionate support and a safe space to process their stories. My approach integrates evidence-based, trauma-informed counseling with biblical principles, offering care for the mind, body, and spirit. I strive to help clients gain insight, strengthen resilience, discover their God-given worth, and develop practical tools for lasting growth and healing. My desire is for each person to experience hope, restoration, and the truth that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and faith-centered environment where they are invited to share their story at their own pace. We will discuss the concerns that brought them to counseling, current challenges, personal and spiritual history, strengths, and goals for healing and growth. As a trauma-informed Christian therapist, I prioritize creating a safe space where clients feel heard, valued, and understood without judgment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a Christian trauma-informed therapist are creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued. I believe healing begins within a trusting relationship and strive to meet each person with compassion, grace, and respect, regardless of where they are in their journey. My approach integrates evidence-based, trauma-informed counseling practices with biblical principles to support healing of the mind, body, and spirit. I help clients develop greater self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and process difficult experiences in ways that promote lasting growth and restoration. I am passionate about helping individuals recognize their God-given worth, build resilience, and find hope even in life's most challenging seasons.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to help adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, substance use, and co-occurring mental health concerns. I work well with clients who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected and are looking for support, healing, and practical tools to move forward. I especially enjoy helping individuals build insight, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthier relationships with themselves and others. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and collaborative, meeting clients where they are while helping them grow toward lasting healing and stability. When desired, I also incorporate faith-based principles into the counseling process.
