Hello! I am a mind/body/spirit integrative psychotherapist. I work with clients using a variety of tools including body oriented mindfulness to increase awareness of their inner life, develop self compassion, and open to new ways navigating life and relationships. I am a lifelong practitioner of yoga and meditation, and was a bodyworker and energy healer for 10 years before earning my Master's Degree in Somatic Psychology. I've been licensed as a marriage and family therapist for 11 years and practicing as a therapist for 15 years.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I help you to understand how your responses to traumatic stress from your past contribute to your ongoing experience of your mind and body. We work together to help you develop skills to manage stress in ways that increase your sense of well being and help you to navigate life and relationships more effectively.

Integrative

Healthy psychological functioning depends on our ability to become aware of and draw connections between our mind, body, emotions, and energy. Integrative psychotherapy supports you in doing that through a variety of methods drawing from mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic therapy, etc...

Humanistic

One of the tenants of humanistic therapy is acknowledging the common humanity between therapist and client. Rather than a detached expert, I see my role as a care provider whose primary responsibility is to hold you in unconditional positive regard.
