I also integrate mindfulness, meditation, and visualization to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself. After you first session with me, you will begin to learn skills that you can practice in the “real world” to increase the number of “good days” and, when “bad days” sneak up, they won’t be as bad as before.
My main form of treatment is Cognitive Behavior Therapy, which is often mixed with Mindfulness skills. I really like using metaphors and visualization to help you better understand a concept or create improved emotional balance. Ultimately, my goal is to utilize several methods and tools based on your own individual needs and preferences.
My biggest strength in therapy is my ability to help bring insight into a situation. I allow you space to talk about whatever is on your mind and then we work together to gain a better understanding of the situation. This is especially helpful in better understanding anxiety and depression, along with other feelings such as anger or feeling overwhelmed.
